The BlueZoo team
Bill Evans was earlier CEO of Arkeia Software and of Parascale, Inc. He previously worked in senior management roles as SVP of the International Business Unit at Gateway computer and General Manager of Small Business Solutions at Western Digital. He was an early employee of Red Brick Systems and Blue Martini Software, which executed IPOs in 1996 and 2001. Bill holds an MSEECS from MIT and an MBA from Harvard.
Jan Willem Korver
Jan-Willem was a co-founder of BlueFox, and the original developer of BlueFox’s Wi-Fi sensing technology. At the age of 22 he co-founded MarketGraph which delivered computer graphics solutions to the broadcasting industry and was subsequently acquired by FL Media. He later pioneered embedded systems for interactive television and digital signage. Jan-Willem studied computer science at Utrecht University as well as economics at the University of Amsterdam.
Philippe, aka “Captain”, leads the development of the cloud infrastructure that processes real time sensor data and delivers core BlueZoo foot traffic analytics. He previously worked at Panasonic R&D Company of America as a Lead Engineer on various R&D technology projects (e.g. PBX Voice Dialing, EZ Touch TV remote control) and multiple SaaS applications (e.g On4Today Senior Wellness). Philippe holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Université de Nancy I, has published numerous technical papers, and has authored 20+ patents.
Andrea Le Vot
Andrea helps ensure data privacy for BlueZoo customers worldwide. She has an extensive background in market research and digital signage and helped establish the IPSOS branch in Australia where she taught best practices in market research. Andrea received a Master’s degree in Media Culture and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Hamburg, performing fieldwork in Tanzania. She is certified as a Data Protection Officer by Bureau Veritas.
Angie leads marketing at BlueZoo. She has 20 years experience in high tech marketing, with 8 years in consulting and 12 years of executive experience working for hardware and software companies in Silicon Valley. Angie has held CMO and VP Marketing positions with HP, Baan, Blue Martini Software, and Unwired Software. Independently, she has also consulted as a marketing expert for over 75 hardware and software companies around the globe. Angie holds a BA from Northwestern University in Economics and an MBA from Stanford University.
Prior to joining BlueZoo, Fred founded and led a number of successful startups, including VEO and Arkeia Software, the leading developer of enterprise backup software and appliances for Linux environments. Between startups, Frederic worked for Apple Computer and managed channels for small business storage solutions at Western Digital. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Lincoln International Business School.
Bart leads sales and strategic partnerships in the Americas for BlueFox’s three verticals: retail, hospitality, and advertising. He also manages sales of the Party Squasher family of products in the United States to the short-term rental industry. With roots in building player loyalty programs for the casino gaming industry, he is an alumnus of the Cornell Hotel School.
